Kumud Khanal, MSc, BPharm, TMS, and Practice Coordinator

Kumud was born in Nepal. After high school travelled to India for Pharmacy School (1999–2003). Worked as a Quality Control Pharmacist and Production Pharmacist in pharma companies in Nepal. (2003-2006), Migrated to the US for higher education and completed a Master of Science in Environmental Safety and Occupational Health from the University of Findlay, Ohio (2006–2009). 

Working as a TMS technician and Practice coordinator for Dr Ghelber at Advanced Psychiatry for over a decade. Experienced with the NeuroStar and the Brainsway devices. Trained and certified with both devices, as well as the Brainsway H7 coil (OCD).

Administered over 20,000 TMS treatments and successfully treated more than 400 patients, making use of Several protocols like MDD, Bipolar, anxiety, PTSD, migraines, MS Fatigue, OCD, etc. Expert with FDA-approved protocols( MDD, OCD, SWIFT, SAINTS) as well as several off-label protocols(Bipolar, Anxiety, PTSD, Pain, fatigue, Post-Stroke, etc.) and Intermittent Theta-burst Stimulation (iTBS) for Depression, crisis intervention/ suicidal ideation, etc.
